SOME THINGS I GLADLY PROVIDE MY COUPLES ARE…

  • TONS of direction

Even if you’ve never been professionally photographed before, there is nothing to worry about! I use a bunch of prompts during the session, so no need to practice beforehand or overthink what to do at every moment. I love to make my couples feel like we’re just hanging out and having fun, and the rest will follow :) Whatever your vibe is, whether it’s silly and playful or more serious and romantic, I’ll make sure the experience is as stress-free as possible.

  • Clear Communication

No one likes being left on read… which is why I am constantly checking my inbox to make sure I reply to all inquiries and questions within 24-48 hours! If I am on vacation or plan to be away for a certain amount of time, I make sure to give notice in advance and post reminders on social media.

  • Organization

A huge part of being prepared for your day means learning about everything that makes it special! I will send a detailed Google Doc for you and your partner to fill out—this gives me all the information I need to plan a complete photo timeline for your wedding. This way I get to know the vendors, family, and bridal party members so that group photos happen as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

  • Quick turnaround times

I know how much my clients look forward to getting their pictures, and I am proud to say that I deliver final galleries to your inbox within 2-3 weeks for engagement (or portrait) sessions, and 5-6 weeks for a full wedding day!

  • So. Much. Hype.

As someone whose love language is words of affirmation, you best BELIEVE I’m gonna express my excitement! I love sharing my enthusiasm with my clients and making them feel like I have their back. When you hire me as your photographer, you also get a cheerleader, a confidant, a bestie, all in one. If at any moment you start to feel overwhelmed or unsure, me and the iconic Kris Jenner will be there to remind you—“You’re doing amazing, sweetie!”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What gear do you use?

    • I currently shoot on a Canon R6 and lenses: 85mm f/1.4, 24-105mm f/4

  • Where are you based?

    • I live and work primarily in Philadelphia, PA and surrounding South Jersey area!

  • Do you travel?

    • Yes! I am frequently back home in north Jersey and NYC—so those are easy local travel locations I feel great about. But I am totally open to other places near and far... I dream of epic landscapes and new cities to explore, while capturing your unique story along the way.

  • How did you get started with photography?

    • When I graduated from my Masters program in 2017, I had my portraits professionally taken. I went from feeling super uncomfortable to having a great time and absolutely loving my pictures for the first time ever! I wanted to give that experience to other people and have been having so much fun capturing incredible moments ever since.

  • We’re super awkward and can’t pose! HELP

    • Don’t worry, I got you! I love to give my couples prompts, not poses. This means I incorporate a lot of movement and fun during our sessions, which is what brings out so many candid moments. I promise you will not look stiff or awkward at all :)

  • What is your photography style?

    • I love capturing tons of candid moments between you and your loved one(s)! My goal is to bring out all the feels. I want you to look back on your pictures and gush over them. I tend to go for a mix of emotions during out shoot: fun and giggly, serious and romantic, you name it.

  • Can you edit out parts of a picture I don’t like?

    • I always ask for personal preferences (“good” side, types of shots you’re looking for, etc.) before and during our shoot to make sure you feel like I am capturing you at your best. I want you to LOVE your final images, but I don’t offer Photoshop requests or retouching as part of my services, unless they are purchased as an add-on.

  • How do I book you?!

    • It all starts with an inquiry :) Once you fill out the contact form I will be in touch via email within 24-48 hours. After that we go through the steps of the booking process as outlined above!

  • What is your pricing like?

    • Portrait sessions start at $400/hr and weddings at $1700. For more information or to explore a custom package, fill out my contact form and let’s chat!

kind words

Jessica + Abdel:

Karen was amazing to work with! She is a charismatic person and we never felt rushed during the photoshoot. She made us feel comfortable the second we arrived to our shoot. It was obvious she had researched the area beforehand as she took us to a park with the best lighting from the sunset. And I was very impressed not only with the pictures (she def has an eye) but the timeliness of her edits! We got the pictures within a few days of the shoot! I can’t wait to have her take pictures of our daughter’s baptism! I highly recommend her!

Vanessa + Taka:

Karen was such a pleasure to work with and knew just how to get some real gems out of our son, even though he did all he could to run away! Not only was she great to work with in person but she was also super quick in sharing pictures after the session. Would strongly recommend for your next wedding photos, family photos, etc.
